Sales Representative at Pasca Pottery

Pasca Pottery is seeking a dynamic and creative Sales Representative to drive the growth of our handmade ceramic artwork by building strategic partnerships with galleries, retailers, and art enthusiasts. This role is central to expanding our market presence and increasing sales through curated exhibitions, retail placements, and direct client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with galleries, art boutiques, interior designers, and craft retailers to secure placements for Pasca Pottery’s artwork.
Pitch and present our ceramic pieces to gallery curators and buyers, highlighting unique design, craftsmanship, and artistic value.
Organize and manage exhibition opportunities, including coordinating logistics for gallery shows, pop-ups, and craft fairs.
Identify new retail and distribution channels, including online marketplaces and specialty stores, to broaden our customer reach.
Collaborate with the studio team to ensure timely production, packaging, and shipping of artwork for sales and exhibitions.
Maintain detailed records of contacts, sales leads, and client feedback using CRM tools to track progress and optimize outreach.
Promote Pasca Pottery’s brand through storytelling, social media engagement, and participation in local art events and community initiatives.

Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, account management, or arts/crafts retail—preferably in visual arts, ceramics, or design.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a passion for art and craftsmanship.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to articulate the artistic and functional value of handmade pottery.
Proficiency in CRM software and digital tools for managing client relationships and tracking sales.
Self-motivated, organized, and creative, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and outreach goals.
Local presence in Durham, NC, and willingness to travel within North Carolina.
